Founded in 2018 by Adunni Okafor, Afrique Events emerged from a simple yet powerful vision: to create extraordinary celebrations that authentically represent the beauty, diversity, and sophistication of Nigerian culture.

Having grown up immersed in the rich traditions of both Yoruba and Igbo cultures, Adunni witnessed firsthand how events could transcend mere gatherings to become profound expressions of identity, love, and community. After studying International Event Management in London and working with luxury brands across Europe, she returned to Nigeria with a mission.
